Seiryu’s original “Kaiseki” cuisine

Kaiseki is the most refined form of Japanese cuisine featuring exquisitely prepared original dishes. It has been recorded on the list of the World’s Intangible Cultural Heritage. All meals incorporate a variety of local produce and seasonal ingredients for a delicious Japanese dining experience. 
We serve Kaiseki Japanese cuisine for meals. Please note that we may not be able to respond to your special requests.

We are glad to respond to your requests regarding your children’s meals. For children above the age of six, children’s menu basically comprises of the dishes prepared for adults. For children under the age of six, children’s meals as shown in the sample picture below will be served for dinner.

Breakfast/Local specialty “Mago chazuke”and “Himono”

For breakfast, please enjoy our tasty traditional foods of “Bonito Mago-cha” and “Himono” together with steamed rice and miso soup. “Mago-cha”was a typical food eaten by fishermen on the boat in the Nishiizu region long time ago. “Himono” is a typical breakfast menu at Ryokan. It is dried fish originally fished at the nearby sea and will be grilled in front of you just before serving.
